Joadja is an historic town ruins situated in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia where thousands of Scottish miners worked the rich kerosene shale deposit in the late 1800s. A small distillery operates and the public can come and visit the fascinating ruins and distillery on limited selected open days. Joadja is a listed heritage property of national significance. We are currently awaiting council approval to operate Joadja as a tourism destination with a strong emphasis on education andPARSED CONTENT
